Cancelling
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Edition until the end of the period you've already paid for, so there's no need to leave it to the last day.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Choose Masterplan, then Cancel Subscription.
If Masterplan isn't listed there, the subscription is on a different Apple ID from the one you're signed into — worth checking a family member's, or another account of your own.
Switching between monthly and annual
Same place: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Masterplan. Pick the other option and Apple handles the proration. Moving from monthly to annual takes effect at your next renewal date.
Cancelling during a free trial
Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged. You keep Edition for the rest of the trial. We'll also email you before a trial converts, so it shouldn't arrive as a surprise.
Refunds
Refunds are Apple's decision, not ours — we can't issue one, and we can't see your payment details. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
If you were charged for something that looks wrong, still tell us — [email protected]. We can't move the money, but we can confirm what your account shows, which helps when you talk to Apple.
Restoring a purchase
If you've paid but the app is still showing Edition as locked — after reinstalling, or on a second device — open the app, go to the More tab and choose Subscription, then restore. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that bought it.
What cancelling doesn't do
Cancelling Edition does not delete your recipes. Your cookbook, photos and collections stay exactly as they are — you move back to the free plan and keep everything you've saved.
Something not right?
Email [email protected] and a person will read it. Include the email address on your Masterplan account and we can check what it shows.
