Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Masterplan Edition is billed by Apple, and Apple keeps charging until you cancel it in your iPhone's Settings. Cancel first, then delete — otherwise you'll be paying for an account that no longer exists.
What gets deleted
- Every recipe you've saved, including ones you added by hand
- All your photos
- Collections, meal plans and grocery lists
- Your profile
This is immediate and permanent. We don't keep a copy, and there is no way for us to restore it afterwards — so if there's anything you want to keep, save it somewhere else before you start.
What isn't affected
- Other people in your household. The shared list and plan survive for them; you simply leave.
- Recipes you've shared by link. If you'd rather those stopped working, delete the recipes before deleting your account.
- Your Apple or Google account. Deleting here only removes your Masterplan account.
How to do it
- Cancel your subscription first — Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Masterplan.
- In Masterplan, open More, then Profile.
- Choose to delete your account and confirm.
If you're leaving because something's broken
Tell us first. Most of what makes people give up on a recipe app is fixable, and often quickly. Email [email protected] before you delete anything — once it's gone we can't help, and we'd genuinely rather have the chance.
Still stuck?
Email [email protected] and a person will read it — or write from inside the app, under More then Help.
